The fractal pattern is made of the same forms (ex. triangle, square etc...) , but just the size is different.
If we use triangle, it it like a Sierpinski Triangle(http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sierpinski_triangle)which is used in the sunshade shown in my first sheet.
When you use squares, you'll get a Sierpinski Carpet(http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sierpinski_carpet) which is used in the Menger Sponge(http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Menger_sponge)and the Photonic Fractal shown in my second sheet.
In both, and generally speaking the fractal pattern can be get by dividing a big form in the same algorithm.
We'll can also use this pattern or concept to make cutting patterns, the whole space concept etc...
Could you give me some ideas concerning this issue?

and the point here would be how many times we should divide the form to make a pattern.
