This structure may be most feasible and realistic in terms of construction and realization, even though making this type of 3D form by 2-directional finger joint is not as easy as you would imagine. My concern here is the structure seems to be too rigid and hard to see the quality of transformability. The idea sketch seems to be showing the seasonal change just by turning the whole structure, but I believe transformability can seek much further. If the compositional design allows the whole bubble shape really transform, that can be really cool though.

I really like the idea that the form would vary by the environmental factor but as Keisuke mentioned I don't see much difference of a form of the structure by the environmental change from the diagram you drew.

Also please consider that you have only thirty 6mm plywood sheets. If you want to cut out a curved strip out of plywood sheet like you are showing in the construction sketch, I'm afraid that this could be a lot of waste of material when cut. So you have to think of a way how to use as much material as possible. It might be interesting if you could also find a way to use left over materials for the structure.
