My concern in this detailing is that it may still sway at the joint, along the joint axis. In this case, our material is only 5.5 mm thick, and CNC router cannot be so accurate that it really bites each other not to sway. Also plywood is not that solid material, so it may be squashed even the cutting is very perfectly matching, when there is horizontal thrust making the joint sway. If you wants to proceed this detailing, you may need to think larger scale arrangement of different angle coordination. Definitely, there shall be different angle to be appear on one layer, so it won't sway for one direction per layer - then the question is how you would set a rule of angle coordination. That might make the whole structure even more beautiful, and that may also give a hint for horizontal joint as well. Please take advantage of having such structural requirement, to resolve larger scope design issue.
